Events
The Events Section prepares the major meetings and social occasions
open to all participants in the Heritage Society. Event coordinators
choose venues, arrange for food and drink, organize entertainment
and work with PR to advertise each event.
As our organization has grown, the need for event coordinators
has increased. We are developing a team of people to work individually
and in small groups on the following events:
- Welcome Meeting in September
- Newcomers Morning in October
- Coffee Morning in November
- Newcomers Morning in January/February
- Evening Social (with calendar photo competition) in March
- General Meeting in May
- Welcome Receptions for Evening Lectures in September and February
If you enjoy planning a party or want to show off your negotiating
skills, join the Events team! You can commit to as many or as
few events as you choose.
