Library

The centrally located Indonesian Heritage Society Library has a collection of nearly 4000 books, slides, tapes, and other resources. Friendly volunteer staff assist registered Friends with registrations, schedule meetings, and browsing and borrowing books and resources. The Library is the heart of the organization, and always welcomes interested new volunteers. more info

Information Technology

The Information Technology team manages the Heritage Society website and produces and sends the weekly “E-News” email that is sent to all registered participants.  IT is always looking for those with computer skills of all levels, website and HTML programming knowledge, and anyone wishing to learn more about how these electronic publications are created by volunteering to help produce them. more info

Museum Tours, Projects and Language Classes

Support the Museum Nasional by becoming a volunteer museum guide.  We run museum guide training courses twice a year.  more info

Work on practical projects with the Museum Nasional and other museums.  Volunteers are extremely priviledged to work on projects involving photography, documentation, translation and labeling. more info

Events

If you enjoy planning a party or want to show off your negotiating skills, join the Events team! You can commit to as many or as few events as you choose.  Event coordinators choose venues, arrange for food and drink, organize entertainment and work with Public Relations to advertise each event. more info
