A series of lectures highlighting Indonesian culture,art and contemporary issues, presented to the public twice a year. Each session contains six lectures.
As the name suggests, Rumahku is a small gathering which includes a presentation generally held in a "Friend's" home. These relaxed presentations are usually held during the day with topics covering a broad range. Past presentations include: textiles, ceramics, anthropology, education, green issues, etc.
Are you Nocturnal?.. The Night Study Group (NSG) is held at the library the last Wednesday of
the month after work hours (evenings) in order to accommodate working
heritage friends and spouses. Talks cover a broad range of topics. For
example, Indonesian Literature (in translation), Homo Floresinesis, Kota
Tua, Volcanos and many others.
