Asean
Textile Symposium - The Wastraprema, an association of
people who admire traditional cloths, hosted a two-day seminar
on ASEAN traditional textiles. ASEAN countries are: Brunei
Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar,
the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Speakers included textile scholars, textile curators, textile
artists from ASEAN countries, but also from countries other
than ASEAN.
